According to the court documents, FTX broke down during the “encrypted currency winter” when the price of the encrypted currency fell sharply. According to the victims’ lawyers, Adam Moskowitz and David Boies, the FTX clients felt robbed, treating bankruptcy as “second theft” and considering bankruptcy to be no different from the business run by the SBF (former CEO), which had been sentenced to 25 years’ imprisonment for fraud.

The document states that clients could have retained their encrypt currency investments if it was not for SBF crimes. Moreover, bankruptcy laws require priority for certain creditors, FTT currency holders of FTX are at the bottom of the order of preference and unlikely to recover from bankruptcy.
