1. 中国互联网金融协会发布风险提示，防范变相、境外ICO以及“虚拟货币”交易风险

中国互联网金融协会先后于2018年1月12日和2月26日分别发布了《关于防范变相ICO活动的风险提示》和《关于防范境外ICO与“虚拟货币”交易风险的提示》，指出以发行迅雷“链克”（原名“玩客币”）为代表，一种名为“以矿机为核心发行虚拟数字资产”（IMO）的模式值得警惕，存在风险隐患。同时提到，境内投资者转向境外平台参与交易将面临一定的风险，为“虚拟货币”交易提供服务的行为均面临政策风险。投资者应主动强化风险意识，保持理性，远离各类非法金融活动。
On 12 January and 26 February 2018, respectively, the China Internet Finance Association (CIFA) issued "Risk Notices on Protection Against Disguised ICO Activities" and "Standards on Protection against the Risk of Trading ICOs with Virtual Currency" Abroad, noting that a model called "Virtual Digital Assets with Mineral Machines at its Core" (IMO) is alarming and dangerous. 2. 美图官方发布区块链方案白皮书，将基于AI技术打造区块链生态
1月22日，美图公司官方发布了区块链方案白皮书。据白皮书介绍，美图公司将基于AI技术打造区块链生态，为用户创建一个去中心化、安全加密的身份通行证：美图智能通行证（MIP-MeituIntelligent Passport），用户能够在区块链上用人脸特征作为通证密钥，进行去中心化的用户身份认证（KYC）。白皮书介绍称，美图智能通行证（MIP）基于零知识证明、差分隐私等加密手段构建了一套安全隔离系统，内置了一套以算法自驱动的去中心化用户身份验证(KYC)体系。

4. 以德平台停止交易，成第一家“跑路”的交易所

3月22日，京东发布区块链技术实践白皮书。根据白皮书得知，目前京东区块链技术应有供应链、金融、政务及公共领域、保险防欺诈、大数据安全五个领域。京东认为，目前区块链在性能、扩展性、易用性、功能完备性、运维成本等许多方面都还有待完善，更合理的应用方式应该是以应用层业务系统为主，区块链底层完善优化为辅，开展区块链技术应用。值得注意的是，白皮书全文未提及“代币”问题。
