Following yesterday’s collapse, the price of Bitcoin continued to fall on 20 November. According to an offer from the encrypted currency exchange BitStamp, the price of Bitcoin is now down by $4,300, with the latest offer of $4240, a single day drop of 10.5 per cent, and the exchange CoinMarketCap, a 17 per cent decline.

The price volatility of global cryptophone currencies has also affected the stability of other encrypted currencies and has dragged down other encrypted currencies: according to Coinmark Cap, in the last 24 hours, the stable Riboco is now quoted at 0.4344889, down by 11.18 per cent, and in the past 24 hours, it has been reported at $131.55, or 17.15 per cent.

TokenInsight counted the total amount wasted within 36 hours of the split: the ABC camp dug up the number of ABCs equal to about 13.71 BTCs and directly dug BTCs through the corresponding algorithms, and was able to dig 321.28 and waste arithmetic equivalent to BTC 187.57; and the SV camp dug up the number of SVs equivalent to approximately 71.88 BTCs and directly dug BTCs through the corresponding arithmetical capacity, and took 211.28 and waste arithmetic equivalent to BTC 139.4 units, while the parties wasted a total of BTC 326.97.

On November 19, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission announced its first civil penalty for breach of encryption requirements. “Even if ICO issuers have been found to have issued illegal and unregistered digital asset securities in the past, there are ways to re-establish compliance with federal securities laws and correct them.” According to Jake Chervinsky, a pro-active professional, United States lawyer in the area of cryptographic currency, in this case, resolving the issue by way of refunds and by-registration, civil penalties are imposed without being convicted of fraud. This is much less than a general securities offence (criminal disposition).
