元宇宙（Metaverse）是利用科技手段進行鏈接與創造的，與現實世界映射與交互的虛擬世界，具備新型社會體系的數字生活空間。
元宇宙本質上是對現實世界的虛擬化、數字化過程，需要對內容生產、經濟系統、用戶體驗以及實體世界內容等進行大量改造。但元宇宙的發展是循序漸進的，是在共享的基礎設施、標準及協議的支撐下，由眾多工具、平台不斷融合、進化而最終成形。它基於擴展現實技術提供沉浸式體驗，基於數字孿生技術生成現實世界的鏡像，基於區塊鏈技術搭建經濟體系，將虛擬世界與現實世界在經濟系統、社交系統、身份系統上密切融合，並且允許每個用戶進行內容生產和世界編輯。
元宇宙一詞誕生於1992年的科幻小說《雪崩》，小說描繪了一個龐大的虛擬現實世界，在這裡，人們用數字化身來控制，並相互競爭以提高自己的地位，到現在看來，描述的還是超前的未來世界。
關於“元宇宙”，比較認可的思想源頭是美國數學家和計算機專家弗諾·文奇教授，在其1981年出版的小說《真名實姓》中，創造性地構思了一個通過腦機接口進入並獲得感官體驗的虛擬世界。 "font-size: 16px;" on the meta-cosmos, the more recognized source of ideas was Professor Vernor Winch, an American mathematician and computer expert, who, in his book Real Name, published in 1981, creatively conceived a virtual world that entered and gained sensory experience through brain interfaces.

疫情當下，元宇宙概念重新被帶入大衆視綫。綫上經濟體的發展，新奇的科技幻想，多元化產業的出現，無一不讓大衆對元宇宙充滿期待，充滿想象。儘管大受討論，大衆對元宇宙仍一知半解。如此，首届澳門元宇宙研討會應時而生。
The idea of a meta-cosm is once again taken into account. Economic development, new technological illusions, and the emergence of diversified industries make the cosmos full of expectations and imaginations.

參會嘉賓介紹

首届澳門元宇宙研討會的舉行廣受社會各界人士關註。研討會由澳門學人發展協會，元宇宙三十人論壇，澳門元宇宙協會（籌）主辦。邀請到《元宇宙》叢書作者趙國棟，易歡歡，徐遠重作元宇宙相關演講。同時有澳門大學，澳門科技大學，澳門管理學院，東方文化國際交流協會，澳門市務學會，澳門創新發展研究會等澳門社會各界人士前來線下研討元宇宙相關問題。
The workshop was organized by the Macao Scholars Development Association, the 30-member forum of the Macau Cosmos Association, and the Macau Dollar Space Association. The author of the book “The Won Universe” was invited to Chio, where he was happy and Xu recommenced a speech on the Won Universe. At the same time, the University of Macau, the University of Technology, the Macau School of Management, the East Side Cultural International Exchange, the Macau City Department, the Macao Innovation and Development Society, and others from all sectors of Australian society were invited to discuss the dimension of the coin universe.

中關村大數據產業聯盟秘書長，國家發改委數字經濟新型基礎設施課題組牽頭人，中國人民大學數字經濟與數字化轉型研究中心聯席主任，中國計算機學會大數據專家委員會委員，盤古智庫發起人兼學術委員。著有《大數據時代的歷史機遇》《產業互聯網》《區塊鏈世界》《區塊鏈與大數據：打造智能經濟》《數宇生態論》等。
The Director-General of the China-Komura Association of Digital Industries, the head of the National Development Commission's new infrastructure application group for the digital economy, the co-director of the China People's University's Center for Digital Economy and Digital Transformation Research, a member of the Committee of Major Data Specialists of the China Computer Society, and a member of the Toku think tank who has both human and technical staff.
