Bitcoin fell by 1.2 per cent on Friday in Asia and the Pacific, falling by $20,000 for the first time since January of this year.

In response to a request for an assessment of the fall of the gun, Sun Woo-moo said, "We're fine. Just one user wrongly sold his position and is now back to normal." On Twitter, he said that the currency exchange was operating safely and attributed the recent market fluctuations to “a series of forced silos triggered by a small number of users in the off-the-shelf and HT contract markets”.

Digital asset data provider Kaiko’s research analyst, Riyad Carey, said that the transaction data showed that in a few minutes before the currency price fell, it sold more than $2 million in HT on the Internet on Thursday. He said that then several large purchase orders helped to recover some of its losses.
